After a lot of counting, the shortlist for the CRiS Dealer of the Year awards can be revealed. We had hundreds of nominations from Practical Caravan readers and, following a comprehensive sifting of the information, we've managed to whittle dozens of nominated dealers down to a shortlist of 12.
Now in their sixth year, the awards are based on a combination of customer nominations and 'mystery shopper' inspections. The visits will be taking place over the next couple of weeks to see how the nominees rate in terms of customer service, advice and facilities. We'll also take a look at how good their repair and service facilities are, and how well stocked the accessory shops are. In order to get this far through the nomination and voting process, all of these dealers have been impressive up to now. But it's at this stage when they really need to shine to walk off with the top prize.
The overall winner of this year's award will be announced at the NEC Birmingham show, along with the regional winners, with full details appearing in the December issue of Practical Caravan, reaching newsagents on 7 November. We wish all the shortlisted companies good luck.
