Volkswagen cars generally do quite well in our our towcar reviews, but we don’t put them through quite the same kind of exhaustive testing as the manufacturer. 

We’re not talking about the usual battery of safety tests that all cars must be subjected to, but rather the less orthodox road testing strategies that Volkswagen deploys, presumably to mimic more realistic driving conditions.

We’ll let the video do the talking and while those of a sensitive constitution may be better off not witnessing the terrible abuse, it is worth skipping to the 1’30” mark just to see a two-tonne Volkswagen Transporter Shuttle enjoy its own Sweeney moment…
