At Practical Caravan we love taking photos – if you want to get to grips with the basics, it could be worth watching the tutorial videos from DigitalRev TV

The advice on offer at DigitalRev TV is geared more towards digital SLR camera owners than anyone with a point-and-shoot, but the sheer range of information on offer means there’s something useful to be found for just about every kind of photographer.

More to the point, the videos are all professionally produced and everyone involved is clearly having fun, which makes them all the more interesting to watch — and a refreshing change from most YouTube fare.

Here’s a sample video that explains how to take a good Facebook profile photo, which is probably something that few non-photographers have ever worried about.

50 quick photography tips” is also worth a watch and don’t forget to browse the mine of information at the main Digital Rev site, too.
