SKODA HAS CONFIRMED the price of the revised Yeti crossover. The new car will cost from £16,600 when deliveries start in January.

Two versions of the car will be sold: the regular Yeti and the Yeti Outdoor. The Outdoor has more rugged styling and different bumpers to give steeper approach and departure angles for owners who expect to take the car off road, although not all versions will be four-wheel drive.

As well as the styling changes, some models now have improved economy and lower carbon dioxide emissions. The 1.6 TDI CR 105PS DPF Greenline now emits 119g/km of CO2, putting in Band C for Vehicle Excise Duty.

Skoda hasn’t released kerbweights or towing limits, but we’re not expecting big changes from the current car’s weights and legal maximums.

We’re hoping to drive the car next month and should have more detail then.
