It’s showtime! Yes, we’re looking forward to banishing the post Christmas blues with a trip to The Caravan and Motorhome Show.

Once the new year festivities are over with, you have just two weeks to eat the last of your turkey leftovers and down the last of your champagne before heading north to EventCity in the heart of Manchester for the first of the 2015 season’s big caravanning shows. Manufacturers will be showcasing their newest caravans for sale, plus there will be stand after stand packed with inspiration for your caravan holidays, not to mention bags of brand new caravan and camping accessories.

The show runs from 15 until 18 January and we’re going to be there – are you? It will be opened on 15 January by the two-time BAFTA Award-winning TV and radio presenter Matt Baker, and you’ll have the chance to meet him in person on The Caravan Club stand.

Whether you’ve never towed before, or simply want to brush up on your towing skills, then The Camping and Caravanning Club will once again be hosting its popular towing experience sessions. You can get behind the wheel of a brand new Mitsubishi tow car hooked up to a caravan for expert one-to-one tuition – all for free! Book your place nowThe Caravan Club will also be giving you the chance to tow with one of its recommended tow cars.

Naturally, all the latest caravans will be on show for you to see, including – for the first time at Manchester – Airstream, whose flagship International 684 will form the centerpiece of a stand bristling with its other iconic brands, including T@B and Eriba.

All the major UK brands will be represented in Manchester, including Swift, Elddis, Bailey, Coachman and Lunar, together with Knaus Tabbert Group. Expect a healthy array of special edition models too – so make sure you allow plenty of time for wandering the halls, so you can get inside all the new caravans you want to.

You’ll also discover a world of inspiration for your 2015 caravan holidays at the Manchester show – and a good starting point is Swift’s new Great Days Out exhibition. Whether lake cruises in Windermere, the charming World of Beatrix Potter or the delights of the Wychwood Brewery take your fancy, find out about this and more at the show.

And don’t forget our stand – how could you? Visit the Caravan Sitefinder Rest-Stop, powered by Practical Caravan and our colleagues at Practical Motorhome. It is the perfect place to sip a cuppa while also drinking in ideas for your new year touring.

Finally, don’t miss Practical Caravan’s annual Owner Satisfaction Awards, which we’ll be hosting on the Food and Travel Stage at midday on 15 January. After all, the prize winners are the people you vote for – these are your awards and you’ll receive a warm welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.

So, what are you waiting for? Book your tickets today! It’s a great day out for all the family. Booking online saves you £1.50 on the adult door price, plus under 16s get in for free.

See you there!
