ONE OF THE disadvantages of running a Ssangyong has been the brand's small dealer network, forcing some owners to make lengthy journeys for routine servicing. Now the company has added 10 more outlets.

The new dealerships are in Attleborough, Crawley, Cwmbran, Glasgow, Hornsea, Inverness, London, Northampton, Swindon and Yeovil. These additions bring the number of sales and servicing dealerships to 48 with 11 service centres.

Ssangyong Motor UK's CEO, Paul Williams, expects to add further dealers over the next few months. "We are continuing to look for dealers to take on the franchise in a number of open points across England, Scotland and Wales, including: Aberdeen, Borders, Newcastle, Teesside, Leeds, Bradford, Nottingham, Greater Manchester, Liverpool, Coventry, Watford, Leicester, Reading, Exeter, Southampton, London/South East, and mid/north Wales."
