white spirit?????

hi all i hope someone can give me some advice??? I had to get into my caravan yesterday as my car got stolen with my caravan keys in it...when gaining access i got the sealant that never goes off on the paint work of my van, my question is can i use white spirit on the pait to remove the sealant witout damaging the paint????

My dealer uses it to remove black streaks on new caravans
