USEFUL INFO
Getting there
If you are travelling from the South East, it is quicker to join the A303 from the M3. The A303 is dual carriageway most of the way and will take you into the heart of Somerset without the hassle of having to travel north on the M4 to get south on the M5. Also, you get to pass Stonehenge on the A303. The M4 will take you into north Somerset, to places such as Bath and Bristol, but to get further into Somerset you will have to join the M5. Coming from the North you just need to head for Birmingham and the M5.
