Scottish Traditional Boat Festival 2009

The harbour town of Portsoy plays host to the 16th annual Scottish Traditional Boat Festival in July. The event has been extended by two days and includes talks, concerts and a food fair. Admission to the harbour costs £8 for adults, and £5 for adult concessions. Free parking.

Celebrate 4 July

Enjoy 4 July celebrations including military displays, costumed re-enactors and a rock'n'roll band. Parking at the museum is free, but if arriving in your 'van, approach via Bathwick Hill as the entrance from the A36 is quite tight.

Royal Welsh Show

Latitude festival

18-19 JULY
Large Model Aircraft Rally

More than 150 scale models of iconic aircraft (including the Spitfire) will be flown during the annual Large Model Aircraft Rally.
Highlights this year include a celebration of the 100th anniversary of Bleriot's flight across the English channel. Entrance costs £9 for adults and £7 for concessions, which includes admission to the Royal Air Force Museum.

War and Peace Show

Shakespeare at Arlington Court

Aboyne Homecoming Highland Games
