Buy a caravan in the January sales! If you’re thinking about getting a caravan in 2014, now’s a great time of year to look for a new or pre-owned caravan and track down a bargain.

Where to find a new caravan bargain

Caravan dealers need to clear the last of 2013’s new caravans off their forecourts soon, because the manufacturers are busy producing 2014 models. Many new models for 2014 were launched in mid-October and there will be new models on offer at the caravan shows in Manchester’s Event City and Birmingham’s NEC in January and February.

Lowdhams Caravans and Motorhomes

Lowdhams won Gold and Silver Awards in our Practical Caravan Owner Satisfaction Survey last year for its sales of used and new caravans. This excellent dealership has forecourts in Nottingham and Huddersfield, showcasing new and used caravans and motorhomes. There’s an end-of-season caravan clearance sale on now so you can save a packet on a new caravan at the moment. There’s also 15 per cent off caravan covers.

If you fancy heading off into the blue yonder in a brand new 2013 four-berth Adria Altea 432PX, it’s down from £11,985 to £11,485 at Lowdhams. There’s an even bigger saving on a new 2013 six-berth Bailey Ancona, down from £18,060 to £15,990.

Browse their caravan offers on the Lowdhams website and arrange to view caravans in person by booking online.

Marquis also has brand new 2013 caravans at bargain prices such as a four-berth 2013 Coachman Amara 560/4 down from £19,040 to £16,295. That’s a saving of £2,745. If the Amara is too big for you, how about a 2013 two-berth Elddis Majestic 302, down from £12,995 to £11,995? Worth a look!

Show deals can save you cash

Why not head to one of the major camping shows that are coming up fast? You’ll often find that there are great ‘show deals’ to be had on a new caravan if you order it at a show, after comparing the best price available from several stands.
