After much speculation, the first pictures of Swift and Sterling’s new 2011 models have finally been released.

The computer-rendered images are not photos, but digital mock-ups of how the new models look. The stunning new look bodyshell is in evidence, but Swift is anxious to point at the caravans are not all style and no substance. Details are still scarce at this stage, but Swift says the new models have thicker sidewalls and extra insulation to easily comply with requirements for Grade III insulation. They also meet standards for European Whole Vehicle Type Approval regulations coming into force in 2013.

The new bodyshell will feature on Swift Conqueror and Challenger as well as Sterling Elite and Eccles models. Swift says Conqueror and Elite models will retain their stylish silver sidewalls and Alde heating advantage over mid-range models.

Models will appear on dealer sites in October and are set to make their official debut at the International Caravan and Motorhome 2010 show at the NEC.
