A specialist caravan insurer has beaten rival brokers from all industries in awards designed to reward top customer service.

Caravan Guard swept the board at UK Broker Awards 2010 awards, winning gongs for best customer service and the best insurance broker to the general public.

Caravan Guard swept the board at UK Broker Awards 2010 awards, winning gongs for best customer service and the best insurance broker to the general public.

Caravan Guard Director Chris Nettleton received the award from comedian Alun Cochrane (pictured) and said “As a company we are committed to offering customers the best possible service, so to be recognised by the insurance industry as not only the UK’s best insurance broker for customer service, but also the UK’s best broker to the general public is an amazing achievement and one which everybody at Caravan Guard is hugely proud of.”  

Judges were impressed by Caravan Guard's growth in a tough market over the last couple of years, well trained staff, easy to use ‘quote and buy’ website, long opening hours and sophisticated call management systems that prevents customers hanging on the phone for hours. Essentially, the 'First Call Resolution' system means that over 80% of callers only speak to one person for their entire query, whether it is a quick call or a complex quote request.
