Expert caravan servicing advice, two new van reviews, a tour of Northumberland plus a Land Rover Discovery tow car test in our brand new TV programme

Say hello to Hexham in our latest TV show on The Caravan Channel. Practical Caravan's very own Group Editor Rob Ganley took his family for a break in this lovely market town in Northumberland and you can join them too – tune in to Sky 212, Freesat 401 or watch live online.

Towing a Swift Elegance 570 behind a SsangYong Rexton W, Rob and his family pitched themselves at Fallowfield Dene Caravan and Camping just north of Hexham, before moving on to spend a few nights at Causey Hill Caravan Park to the south of the town. From these campsites they were able to explore the wilds of Northumberland and even enjoyed time at Hadrian's Wall.

Our Rob makes a further appearance in this episode of our TV show as he reviews a Coachman Vision 580/5. He samples the delights of this family-focused, five-berth caravan that has dedicated bunk beds for younger children. Could this be a fresh solution for families after a new tourer?

In this show you can also see another van review – and it's a first! New to The Caravan Channel is Practical Caravan’s Andy Jenkinson and he is putting a Lunar Clubman Saros Edition SE to the test. Tune in to find out what Andy makes of this four-berth.

And of course you will not want to miss the latest pearls of wisdom from caravan expert John Wickersham. For his top notch advice on how to service your caravan’s corner steadies and how to take care of your caravan's gas hob, tune in to our show on The Caravan Channel.

Finally, we've got another tow car review from our resident expert, David Motton. If you're pondering what tow car to buy, you know you can count on his advice and in this episode he is putting a Land Rover Discovery 4 3.0 SDV6 HSE through its paces in our rigorous, comprehensive tow car test. It's a pricey, luxurious vehicle, but can it cut it as a tow car?
