Come with us on holiday to Wales, join us behind the wheel of an impressive tow car, get inside two new caravans and more in our new TV show

We've top tips, new vans, a Welsh adventure and a top class tow car for you in our latest TV show on The Caravan Channel. You really do not want to miss us – we're on Sky 192 and Freesat 402, and if you've not got these channels, you can watch live online on the Information TV website.

If you're considering changing tourers and you're looking at the new caravans for sale, tune in and see what our Rob Ganley thinks of the Coachman VIP 545/4. Coachman caravans have a great reputation, and this is a high spec four-berth with smart exterior graphics and some handy kit. One useful but unusual feature is the on-board, 40-litre water tank which works in conjunction with the Aquaroll to give you an approximately 80-litre capacity – impressive.

This 2014 Coachman has smart alloy wheels, a dual fuel hob, an oven and grill, and a neatly packaged microwave. But despite being promoted as a four-berth, Rob thinks this is really a luxury two-berth caravan, thanks to its large, comfortable island bed, flanked by wardrobes, and a smart dressing unit. There’s also a good sized shower in the split washroom, plus a great amount of storage – but you’ll need a big tow car. Tune in to our show on Sky 192, Freesat 402 and online to make your own mind up.

Practical Caravan's expert editorial team produces shows on The Caravan Channel with Information TV, and in this show we've a second new caravan review. Rob's back and taking a look around a Bailey Pegasus GT65 Rimini. This is a four-berth caravan with a rear washroom and two fixed single beds, as well as a good amount of kitchen space. Its vertical front window might split opinion in terms of aesthetics, but it's great for letting light flood into the lounge.

As promised, we've also got top tips in our brand new TV show, broadcast exclusively on The Caravan Channel. This expert caravan advice comes courtesy of John Wickersham who's talking about stabilising your caravan when on tow. He explains what a stabiliser does and how it works, to ensure you tow safely, securely and in confidence – happy holidays!

And make sure you watch our new TV show, because if you're wondering what tow car to buy next, we've something pretty special. Practical Caravan’s Tow Car Editor David Motton tests a car that’s enjoyed much success at our Tow Car Awards – the Jaguar XF Sportbrake. Here he tries the three-litre V6 diesel version of this prestige estate towing a twin-axle Bailey caravan. The diesel XF wagon tows with impressive effortlessness, poise and incredible stability – but how does it compare with its more powerful, and admittedly even more expensive, ‘S’ sibling? Watch our Jaguar XF Sportbrake review only on The Caravan Channel to find out what Motty's verdict is.

You can also join Practical Caravan’s Clare Kelly in Wales if you tune in to Sky 192 and Freesat 402, or watch our TV show live online. She tows a Swift Lifestyle 2 behind a Volkswagen Jetta to stunning Snowdonia in North Wales, pitching at a campsite with a vintage railway, ready for her most ambitious day out yet – yes, Clare climbs Mount Snowdon! If you’re after something a little less extreme, maybe her trip to pretty Portmeirion will inspire you on your next caravan holidays in Wales.

Our TV programmes are joint productions by Practical Caravan and Information TV, and are shown on Sky 192 and Freesat 402, or simply watch on your computer or laptop, live online – just click here.
