The August issue of Practical Caravan includes 20 extra pages for our Tow Car Awards 2015 Special, plus top caravan holidays and expert advice

If you love cars as well as caravans, don't miss the latest issue of Practical Caravan! It's our Tow Car Awards 2015 Special, with 20 extra pages to do justice to the dazzling array of 37 brand new cars that we hitched up for testing this year. Read all about it as we reveal the winners in our August edition and give the judges' verdicts on every car in each weight category. Our Tow Car Awards are judged by experts from Practical Caravan, What Car? and The Camping and Caravanning Club. Here we reveal the winners!

Our August magazine also features wonderful caravan holidays to enjoy to make the most of the summer. Group Editor Alastair Clements and his wife and young daughters head to the Isle of Thanet to enjoy sandy beaches, candyfloss and sea air. This seaside resort is rising in popularity once more, having been a holidaymaker's favourite since the 1700s. Author Charles Dickens and artist JMW Turner were among the most famous people who liked to escape here in search of inspiration. Raised on his great uncle's tales of RAF heroics in the Second World War, Alastair also heads to The Spitfire and Hurricane Memorial Museum, which is free!

Elaine Ormerod and her husband Joe hitch their Volvo to their Burstner 5500 TS and visit the Delamere Forest and Dunham Massey in Cheshire. Read their tale of the best walks and sights they discovered when staying at the Delamere Forest Camping and Caravaning Club Site, which is open all year.

Anna Lyon and her family discover north Norfolk's seafaring links by bike, touring in their Eriba Troll. Basing themselves near Cromer, the Lyons explore trains at Sheringham, visit a lifeboat museum to find out about a hero who saved 873 lives in the hostile North Sea, and more.

Beautiful Beaumaris Castle on the Isle of Anglesey is just one of the highlights of our popular Sites and Sightseeing feature on Wales. Whether you love walking and cycling in the great outdoors or enjoy seaside holidays, Wales can deliver it all. We recommend 10 great sites and 10 exciting places to visit.

If you came to our Reader Rally 2015 in May, perhaps you'll spot your own face and those of your friends in some of our photographs in this month's feature. Thank you for joining us in Devon, and if you missed out, we hope you enjoy our story, complete with a look behind the scenes at our host campsite, Stowford Farm Meadows.

In Showroom News Mike Le Caplain goes back to the future with a full live-in test of Xplore's twin-dinette 434 and we also see how Swift's four-berth Conqueror 645 stacks up against the competition. We also report from Slovenia as Adria gives a sneak preview of next year's tourer range. When we tested the colourful Adria 4four Go Signature, we were most impressed by its bold design. Now we review the quieter and much cheaper model on which it was based – the Adria Altea 362LH Forth. While we're on the subject of small, light caravans, don't miss our Pino Pi 2010 review. Made by a Turkish yacht-builder, the cute little Pino has plenty of surprises on board.

These are a few of my personal favourites from the latest issue, but you'll also find all our regular features, competitions, your photos, letters, Martin Roberts' column and more. Don't miss the August issue – it's a bumper edition and it's in the shops right now.
