A HOLIDAY PARK that can trace its roots back to 1912 is celebrating its centenary this week and, as part of the celebrations has produced a coffee table book featuring stories and photographs.

The original site, Hoburne Park in Christchurch, Dorset was purchased at auction by John Burry, the current chairman's great-grandfather.

By 2001, a further six sites covering both countryside and coast, were added to the Park's portfolio, providing visitors with touring pitches, timber lodges, chalets and caravan holiday homes.

To mark this anniversary, Hoburne is allowing nostalgic holidaymakers a rare glimpse of its 100-year history by showcasing unseen materials in a keepsake book called 100 Years of Happy Holidays and we've been given a little preview to share with you.
