Campmaster is an increasingly-popular brand of tiny tourer from Camperlands, one that’s packed with mod-cons to deliver an excellent touring experience.

The two-van range starts at just £11,399 with the Campmaster Lightweight, rising to £20,695 for the Campmaster King, with the latter making it onto our best small caravan guide. Both mini-tourers can be towed by a wide range of cars as small as a Corsa or Fiesta.

The interior of the Lightweight version is accessed through a side hatch. The cosy, lined space has plenty of room to sit and relax and quickly converts into a good-sized double bed. Campmaster Lightweight features USB sockets, a sound system with speakers, and it’s easy to mount a TV inside, too. There’s also a roof vent and large window with blinds for improved ventilation and a greater sense of space. Outside, at the back, the LC features a compact kitchen with a hob, sink and cooler-box-style fridge.

The Campmaster King is larger, and more like a cleverly-compact version of a traditional caravan. Lightweight (750kg) and easy to tow, it comes with a gas locker at the front, compact washroom (with combined loo, basin and shower) and parallel sofas to seat four.

These seats can be used as twin single beds, or be quickly converted into a huge double bed. The neat kitchen area has a sink, one-burner hob and decent worktop space, along with a low-level fridge and storage. The door is at the rear. Our review of the 2022 Campmaster King gives you more insight into what we thought of the tourer when we saw it.

The caravan manufacturer has both vans come with an optional range of awnings and canopies to increase your outdoor living space in warmer weather.

There is also the ingenious two-berth Campmaster Duo, a tourer with a comfortable bed and good road clearance.
