IT'S A LITTLE FAR to go if you fancy a break from the winter weather, but Australia does look like great caravan country for the people who live there, at least if this Channel 9 news report is anything to go by.
The report (it looks more like a crafty advert to us) featured on a recent episode of the ACA current affairs programme and looks at a new breed of ‘super’ caravan and camping sites that include facilities usually found at five-star holiday resorts.
Luxury at low prices
The report reckons that a seven-day stay for a caravan costs AUS$800, or about £500. That sounds pretty steep to use, even considering the plush facilities, but you can judge for yourself from the video clip:
