Tucked away on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is a site that's something special.
Let's find out what makes Meadow Falls in Lancashire such a super place to pitch.
Room for five!
Our 'Best Small Site' for 2018 really is small, with just five touring pitches, although there are also seven glamping pods on site, plus 28 grass tent pitches.
Small doesn't mean you do without. Indeed, all five of the pitches for caravans or motorhomes are hardstanding and have electric hook-up, plus water and drainage connections.
The site is open from 1 March until 1 October and facilities include spotless washrooms, a laundry and play area, and even a 'fairy dell' for your little ones to explore.
In addition, Meadow Falls is dog-friendly and has a dog walk as well as a dog shower, meaning you can clean your four-legged friends after their adventures, so you don't drag mud into your caravan.
And the location of this site means it is perfectly placed to explore not just the Yorkshire Dales, but also the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
What you said
It speaks volumes for the quality of a campsite when its first appearance in our Top 100 Sites Guide wins an award, and those who voted for it clearly love it.
"The site is clean, intimate and within easy reach of Ingleton on foot," said one respondent.
"The owners are so nice and welcoming, the grounds are very well kept and the facilities are clean. It's easy to find and a very quiet site and is also great for kids," said another.
So if you're looking for somewhere new to pitch that's peaceful and quiet, but still offers a great level of service, why not try Meadow Falls?
