Swift Vogue 580SB

We often use sites without mains hook-up or facilities. After seeing the Swindon Caravans Group Vogue 580SB dealer special (based on the Sprite Major 4SB), there was no other choice. Apart from its great layout and spec, the added 100W solar panel, gas barbecue socket, external mains socket, upgraded blinds, alternative soft furnishings and Al-Ko ATC anti-snaking system made the Vogue a very special caravan for little over the standard price.

Compass Kensington 576

We own a Kimberley Caravans dealer special, a Compass Kensington 576, which we purchased mainly for the excellent specification provided. Our caravan is truly our second home. The upgraded wet central heating system, along with the caravan’s family-friendly layout, really jumped out at us when we viewed it.  It’s the perfect year-round holiday option for two adults, two children and two dogs!

Elddis Chatsworth 840

The Elddis Chatsworth 840 ticked all the boxes for us. We were blown away by the additional width, the list of extras and the interior colour scheme. Glossop Caravans had supplied our previous vans and provided great service, so we chose the Chatsworth. We love our 840 – it is fantastic value, a luxury van for reasonable money. Friends of ours loved the layout so much, they ordered an Elddis Supreme 840, a similar dealer special from Preston Caravans.

Lunar Cosmos 544

Our Campbells Caravans dealer special is a Lunar Cosmos 544. The extras are great – black alloy wheels, an additional awning light, LEDs on the grabhandles, interior LEDs, and a massive sunroof and skylight. We love the extra USB sockets, too. We have used it a few times over the winter, and even in heavy snowfall, the van was warm and cosy. A dealer special makes a great buy, offers excellent value for money and gives buyers a unique package.

Sprite Exclusive 6 TD

We have an Exclusive 6 TD, a Yorkshire Caravans dealer special based on Sprite. After a few teething problems, sorted out by the dealer, we’ve had many fantastic weekends away and main holidays. We all love it, especially Oscar the dog! Our van’s extras include an Al-Ko wheel lock, solar panel, microwave, gas barbecue point, external lockers and 230V socket. It’s perfect for us; we will probably look at another Exclusive when we change it.

Lunar Cosmos 554

Returning to caravanning after a 10-year gap, we really liked the Lunars. They seemed great value for money and had the ‘wow’ factor. Viewing them at Campbells Caravans, we found a dealer special, the 554 – fixed single beds, a very high level of equipment and a good price. We did have a problem when damp showed up at the first service, but Campbells in Blackburn (in particular, Annie) sorted it out. We are enjoying caravanning more than ever!

Swift Freestyle SE 4SB

Our dealer special caravan is a Swift Freestyle SE 4SB, bought from Lowdham Leisureworld. It ticked all the boxes. We’ve got upgraded upholstery and curtains, pleated blinds, Al-Ko ATC, a solar panel, Truma Combi 6 heating, a window and a bin in the entrance door, external barbecue point and mains socket – all at under 1450kg. We use it in winter and the insulation is good. We are extremely pleased with it, and the service from Lowdhams.

Elddis Supreme 550

We bought our Preston Caravans dealer special Elddis Supreme at the February 2018 NEC caravan show. The level of specification, compared with its equivalent model, was really superb, combined with a price that offered good value for money. We have basically acquired a top-specced caravan, which also included a new motor mover and Al-Ko wheel lock, as well as a good part-exchange deal on our trade-in caravan.

Swift Siena Accent 580

We have a Grantham Caravans dealer special, a Siena Accent 580, based on the Swift Challenger 580. We love our van – it gives us all of the spec that we would have paid extra for on a standard Challenger, such as Alde wet central heating, external gas BBQ point and 240V socket, and the Lux pack. Not forgetting upgraded soft furnishings, plus excellent service from Grantham Caravans. The best bit was the price – less than the RRP of a standard Challenger.

Coachman Sussex Singleton VIP 565/4

This is my second dealer special, the first being a 2013 Coachman Sussex Singleton GTRS, also from Sussex Caravans. When you see another Sussex special on site, you can instantly say: “That’s an Ashington” or “That’s a Chiltington”. It’s like being in an exclusive club. I now have a 2018 Coachman Sussex Singleton VIP on order – for me, the extra thought and care from the dealer instils loyalty not just to the brand, but to the supplying dealer, too.
