THIS PRISTINE PARK is nine miles from the Norfolk coast AONB, within easy reach of some incredible nature reserves, including Pensthorpe.

The site has a wildlife pond at the centre – where you can fish for carp, bream, rudd and tench – landscaped gardens and wildflower banks.

It also has its own bore hole, supplying fresh water. There’s no shortage of facilities, with four heated washblocks – one new and three refurbished – to choose from. It also benefits from a bar/restaurant, which at the time of writing, was serving pre-ordered takeaway meals. The shop, which has an off-licence and supplies groceries, now functions on a one-in, one-out basis.

Other new safety features include contactless check-in, and washrooms limited to two guests at a time.

“Staff received training prior to opening about working in bubbles and the new cleaning/fogging regimes,” says Tiggy Moore of Old Brick Kilns.

“The play area is open with restricted access, and although our onsite bar and restaurant are closed, we offer take-outs which have gone down well. We have been delighted with how guests have adapted.”
