Sitting on the South Dartmoor border, Oakmoor Touring Park is an ideal destination for lovers of the natural world. During your stay, buzzards, owls, pheasants and deer are just some of the visitors you may encounter.
The adults-only site offers spacious pitches and a scenic setting too, with open meadows on one side and a nature reserve on the other.
Oakmoor recently won a Diamond Award at the Loo of the Year Awards 2025 for its onsite facilities, and also offers a shop stocking essentials.
The site ensures dogs are given a warm welcome, and there are also pubs you can take your canine companions to in the area.
Head to Chudleigh Knighton Heath Nature Reserve to enjoy the Ant Trail, or explore the picturesque 114 acres of Stover Country Park and take advantage of the birdwatching.
Other destinations to visit include Teignmouth, Hennock, Ashburton and Chudleigh Knighton, as well as Torquay, on the English Riviera.
