Don’t forget to pack your swimming costume if you’re planning a visit to Wareham Forest Tourist Park, a regular in our annual Top 100 Sites Guide: there’s a great outdoor swimming pool here, and it’s heated! If that doesn’t appeal, you can always try a spot of table tennis; Wi-Fi is available around most of the park, too.
Most of the touring pitches here are set on either side of the site, and there’s a couple of wooded camping fields, too. A motorhome service point is available, and there’s a short nature footpath to enjoy during your stay. Alternatively, you can strike out into the surrounding beautiful countryside for a stroll. Within a 30-minute drive are Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World and the attractions of Dorchester.
