Price range: £10,795-£12,895
The newcomer to the Lunar family has gone down a storm since its launch in February. The budget range has won over buyers looking for a desirable, affordable and lightweight new caravan.
For those unfamiliar with it, the range is aimed at couples, with a duo of traditional two-berth layouts weighing less than 1000kg, and two fixed-bed models under 1200kg. Sprung upholstery and aluminium bed frames nudge up the quality.
The optional Premium pack (£399) adds alloy wheels, a door flyscreen, hitch stabiliser, radio/CD player and a spare wheel. As a result of its success, the brand remains untouched for 2013.
Competitors to Venus in the entry level sector include Bailey Orion, Elddis Xplore and Sprite.
