WE VOTED THE Land Rover Discovery 4 our Towcar Awards 2010 winner, and while we understand not everybody can afford to buy one, our experts rate it as the best tug for your tourer.

Whether the model is old or new, we know there are plenty of Land Rover owners and enthusiasts in the caravan community, and now there is a chance for them to meet each other.

Convoy for Heroes is being run over the Easter weekend, 23-24 April 2011. Owners of all Land Rover and Range Rover models are invited to join a predicted 500-strong convoy at Long Marston Airfield in Warwickshire.

World record attempt

Apart from an attempt to set a world record for the longest Land Rover convoy, there’ll be an off-road course, auto jumble, car boot sale, evening entertainment and an Easter egg hunt for kids.

Best of all, every penny made in profit from the event goes to the Help the Heroes charity, which provides support for wounded soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.

For further information and prices, go to the event website – tickets can be purchased in the New Year.
