IF YOU'D LIKE to make caravanning a career, property specialists Colliers International might have the perfect option for you.

The firm is seeking a new owner for a 41 acre touring caravan and camping park near Bude, Cornwall on the instructions of receivers. Pentire Haven Holiday Park at Kilkhampton is developed with 320 pitches and is offered for sale with a closing date for offers of 12pm on Friday November 25, 2011.

Rare Opportunity

Ben Jones of Colliers International comments: “Budget holidays in the UK are a growth area and this is a rare opportunity for someone to acquire a camping and caravanning park in an established tourist location with stunning views, good local beaches and good access to the A39.

“We believe that as household budgets continue to be squeezed that touring camping holidays will continue to remain a strong growth area. The park has traded very well in the past and there is plenty of scope to grow the business and add value.”

That's all very well, but how much do you need in the piggy bank to own a slice of Cornish countryside? Well, Colliers have pinned a cool £1.5m price tag on the site. Better buy that lottery ticket...
