SPRITE IS LAUNCHING an all-new six-berth single axle tourer at the Caravan and Motorhome Show in Manchester.

The Major 6 TD is broadly based on the successful Swift Challenger

Bringing the floorplan into the Sprite line-up ensures a cheaper, lighter option for those priced out or unable to tow the plusher Swift model.

2013 Sprite Major 6 TD

New Sprite Major 6 TD offers sleeping for six and two lounges

It offers 6 berths with a large front lounge, large rear dinette that converts to either a single bed or bunks and two further fixed bunks.

The £14,320 price tag gives it a hefty £3300 cost saving over its Swift plusher cousin, while a weight saving of around 80kg is useful for those with more marginal tow cars.
