We’re back with another brand new TV show, only on The Caravan Channel. Tune in to Sky 192 or Freesat 402 to find The Caravan Channel, at the times listed at the foot of this article. And if you don’t have those channels, don’t worry, as you can watch every TV show live online – simply click here! We hope you enjoy it.

So, what can you expect in this show? Well, Practical Caravan’s Group Editor Alastair Clements reviews the Swift Lifestyle 2, a dealer special from Marquis based on the Swift Group’s Sprite Alpine 2. Being a dealer special, it is packed with extra kit, including an Al-Ko hitch stabiliser, a panoramic sunroof, a microwave, alloy wheels and a spare wheel, external barbecue and power points, an iPod ready stereo and a fly screen for the door, while smart graphics outside and beige trim with pink and brown detailing inside complete the look. It’s a two-berth caravan with a full width end washroom that feels quite plush despite its entry-level origins and the fact it’s just under six metres long. Tune in to our TV show to get the full story.

Now, have you ever suffered a puncture on your caravan holidays? Well, also in our TV show, caravan expert John Wickersham is off to the headquarters of Al-Ko. He’s here to share top tips about changing tyres and to learn more about the company’s side lift jack, designed to help caravanners change their wheels in the event of a puncture.

Then we join Practical Caravan’s Emma Howcutt on tour at Rudding Holiday Park, where she’s pitched before exploring Leeds, in North East England. This city is a super shopping destination, with the massive Trinity Leeds a major draw. She also visits The Tetley, a centre for contemporary art and learning in one of the city’s landmark buildings, before going on the Leeds Owl Trail. Back at Rudding Holiday Park, Emma’s impressed with its facilities – there is even an on site, family friendly pub. There’s also a swimming pool and a children’s play area, as well as a clean and tidy washblock. Watch our show on Sky 192, Freesat 402 and live online to see it for yourself.

In part two of our show, it’s time to get your glad rags on and join the team at the Practical Caravan Tourer of the Year Awards. The event, hosted by Group Editor Alastair Clements, together with Henry Hope-Frost, celebrates the best of the best in the world of caravans.

Practical Caravan’s Stacie Pardoe then reviews one of our award winners, the Venus 540/4. This 2015 caravan has a fixed double bed and a full width, end washroom. Make sure you watch our latest TV show to see the extent of the updates to this tourer for the new season, and to appreciate the thoughtful touches found in this entry-level van.

Finally, it is time to reveal the Practical Caravan 2015 Tourer of the Year, the Bailey Unicorn Seville, which our Alastair reviewed recently at Bath Chew Valley Caravan Park. This new, third generation Unicorn range of Bailey caravans waves goodbye to the magnolia exterior tones of its predecessors, with a fresh, bright, white look, new graphics and a better integrated full height window. Inside, the Seville has real wow factor. It looks and feels roomy, despite being the smallest in the range, indeed there’s up to 15% more floor space inside. This Seville also has a 25% bigger shower and a proper radiator in the washroom. Make sure you watch our show to discover why this tourer received the top gong at our annual awards.
