New-for-2017 Knaus, Buccaneer and Bailey caravans star as our TV show returns for a third series! Watch on Sky 212, Freesat 161 and via our live stream

Welcome to the brand-new series of Practical Caravan TV!

And as most of the first episode of our third series was filmed at last month’s Caravan and Motorhome Show at EventCity, Manchester, it’s packed with exciting new caravans.

How to watch – and when!

As ever, we are giving you plenty of opportunities to see Practical Caravan TV and offering you a variety of ways to watch. Each show will be broadcast five times a week as follows:

  • Mondays at 8pm;
  • Wednesdays at 6pm;
  • Fridays at 4pm;
  • Saturdays at 6pm;
  • Sundays at 6pm.

You can watch on Showcase TV which is on Sky 212, Freesat 161 or live online – a single, one-off charge of £2.99 applies for the latter.

First, we review the brand-new Bailey Pursuit 560-5. It’s an entry-level caravan with no hidden costs, aimed squarely at the family market with a £16,249 price-tag.

You get fixed bunk beds with a dinette opposite, and the latter can be converted into a single bed, creating a proper kiddie zone at the back.

There’s also a good kitchen, a full-width end washroom and a lovely lounge that really belies its entry-level standing. Watch the first episode of our new series and see this Bailey caravan for yourself!

Take your family touring up a gear

For luxury family touring, stay tuned as next we have something really rather special – it’s the Buccaneer Galera.

At £32,194, this twin-axle, 8ft-wide model is as far from the entry-level Pursuit we started the show with, so what are you getting for double the money?

Snazzy alloys, a solar panel and hydraulic self-levelling for a start. And once on board this six-berth there’s a good-sized, well-specced kitchen opposite a great dinette.

Little ones will love the cosy, pod-style fixed bunks, while mum and dad will be able to luxuriate in the palatial front lounge. Check it out on Practical Caravan TV.

Does this SUV have the Edge?

After the break, we’ve our first tow car review of the series and it’s the all-new Ford Edge. We’re testing the 2.0-litre diesel-powered 210PS model and have hitched it to a twin-axle Swift.

This Ford SUV is quiet on the motorway and stable when towing, plus cabin and luggage space are generous. Tune in to this week’s show and see what tow car ability the Edge has.

The third caravan review of series three is next, and it’s the new Knaus StarClass 690, a transverse island bed, twin-axle model that is loaded with kit.

It is also 8ft 2in wide, meaning that island bed is over 6ft long and has a good amount of storage space beneath.

So don’t miss the return of Practical Caravan TV! Watch on Freesat 161, Sky 212 or via our live stream. Enjoy!
