Swift has revealed details of the new Airstream range that’s coming to the UK very soon.

As we announced earlier this year, the Swift Group has been appointed the sole British distributor for these iconic caravans.

And coming hot on the heels of Swift’s full 2018-season launch, we have the first information of the three-strong range that will make its debut at the Motorhome and Caravan Show on 17 October, at the NEC Birmingham.

What’s inside?

Each of the trio is named after an American river, underlining the Airstream brand’s heritage.

The four-berth Missouri is the baby of the range at 6.81m. There is also the two- or three-berth Yukon which is 7.6m long, while the longest is another four-berth, the 8.25m-long Airstream Colorado.

Externally, all three are unmistakably Airstream caravans.

The handcrafted ‘silver bullet’ form with a buck-riveted aluminium bodyshell is an iconic look, featuring wraparound panoramic front and rear windows with tempered tinted glazing.

Other items all Airstream caravans will be sold with include a ZipDee awning, an exterior shower, a gas barbecue point and stainless-steel stone guards. Inside, Alde central heating, full LED lighting, an Ecocamel showerhead and Duvalay Duvalite mattresses are on the kit list.

Buyers can have either the Manhattan or the Americana soft furnishings scheme, both of which have leather upholstery – a fabric option, Impala, is available.

You get full black leather upholstery with white stitching if you pick the monochromatic Manhattan option, plus grey-leopard-print scatter cushions.

Americana uses brown leather alongside red-and-black chequered curtains and soft ‘cow hide’ scatter cushions for a more classic, vintage feel.

New Airstreams coming soon!

The new Airstreams will be on show at selected events across the UK, prior to the official launch at the NEC in October.

And Swift Group has appointed six dealers to sell these new vans: Knowepark in Scotland, Salop Leisure in Shropshire, Catterick Caravans near the A1 in the North East, Lowdhams Nottingham, White Arches near Northampton and finally Highbridge Caravan Centre in Somerset.

All models will be available to view at all six dealers.
