Find out what you think are the best new and used caravans for sale in the UK right now, as we reveal the winners at our Owner Satisfaction Awards 2018

Slovenian manufacturer Adria walked away with the top prize at tonight’s Owner Satisfaction Awards 2018, winning the coveted ‘best manufacturer of new caravans’ accolade.

The ceremony, a joint venture by Practical Caravan and The Camping and Caravanning Club, was held at the Midland Hotel, Manchester, co-hosted by Club President Julia Bradbury with Practical Caravan’s Editor Niall Hampton presenting the awards.

Britain’s most popular imported caravan brand achieved its success with a satisfaction rating of 89.2%.

And Adria fought off tough competition from the other Gold Award-winning manufacturers, second-placed Eriba (88.8%) and third-placed Knaus (88.2%).

The top British brand was Coachman, its satisfaction rating of 80.5% making it our best-performing Silver Award-winner.

Which are the UK’s best caravan dealers?

Scoring an impressive 97.2%, you voted Blackmore Vale Leisure near Shaftesbury in Dorset the number one supplying dealer of new caravans.

In second place was Sussex Caravan Centre (91.5%), Ropers Leisure (88.3%) third.

And over in the used caravans category, your top dealer was Winchester Caravans with a fantastic satisfaction rating of 99.4%.

Blackmore Vale Leisure continued its strong showing at our 2018 awards, coming second in this division (97.3%), Ropers Leisure taking its second third-place of the evening (95.4%).

What are the best used caravans for sale?

We also asked you to tell us what you think of any pre-owned vans you’ve bought and you voted Eriba (90.5%) as the best manufacturer of used caravans.

In fact, it was the same brands at the top of this category as in the new caravans section, albeit swapping places, with Adria taking the second spot (86.5%).

Swift Group’s Sterling achieved a rating of 86.1%, gaining a Gold Award and the final podium spot in the used tourers division.

Our annual awards are voted for by you, the readers of Practical Caravan, plus members of The Camping and Caravanning Club.

We appreciate the time you take to complete our survey, because we want to hear the true experiences of real caravanners, so we can help you buy better – and tell the industry what’s what.

Congratulations to all 2018’s winners.
