Two new Alicanto Grande Deluxe models were proving very popular with the crowds at this week’s NEC Motorhome & Caravan Show, as Bailey took the opportunity to display them to the public for the first time.
The Alicanto Grande Deluxe range was launched back in September, shortly before the Harrogate Show. Bailey displayed both the Sintra and the Evora at that event, but this is the first time that the Porto and Alvor models have been on show.
Both models are – like the whole of the range – four-berths, and each features an island bed. The Porto’s is a traditional, longitudinal bed ahead of a cross-van washroom, and this model also has facing sofas up front, along with a midship kitchen. It has twin axles, a shipping length of 7.902m, and an MTPLM of 1847kg.
The Alvor, meanwhile, has a transverse island bed with a washroom across the rear of the van. It also has a midship kitchen, but the lounge is L-shaped. It’s also a twin-axle tourer, and is the same length as the Porto; its MTPLM is slightly higher, at 1852kg. Both the Porto and the Alvor have a price tag of £40,499.
All four of the Alicanto Grande Deluxe models come with a high level of specification and finish. Among the features you’ll find onboard are Al-Ko ATC and a stabiliser, a Trume 130W solar panel, Alde heating, a portable SONOS speaker, dimmable lighting, a king-sized bed, and much more.
Joining the new Alicanto Grande Deluxe models on Bailey’s stand (19-25, hall 19) were models from its other caravan ranges. These included the 8ft-wide Pegasus Grande GT75, the Discovery range, the Phoenix GT75 and the newly launched Unicorn Deluxe line-up.
