BATH CHEW VALLEY caravan site won the top slot in the Practical Caravan Top 100 Sites 2012, announced at the NCC Motorhome, Caravan and Camping Show held at London’s ExCel during half term.
Site owners from across the UK attended the awards ceremony and Champagne reception with afternoon tea, which celebrated the achievements of Practical Caravan readers’ favourite 100 sites in Britain.
The Top 100 Sites list was compiled from the votes of thousands of readers who wanted their favourite site to receive the recognition they felt it deserved. The finalists and the regional winners are listed in a Top 100 Sites 2012 guide, which is published with the April issue of Practical Caravan and is in the shops from 1 March.
Using the Top 100 Sites 2012
The guide, which lists the sites’ contact details and a brief review, is organized into 12 regions to make it easy for the reader to pick a site in the area they want to visit. In addition to the 12 regional winners and an overall winner there are five category winners for Best Family Site, Best Adults Only Site, Best Pet-Friendly Site, Best Year-Round Site and Best Small Site.
