There is a brand new place to go if you’re looking for caravans for sale in South Yorkshire.

Marquis Motorhomes and Caravans recently opened a new, sizeable dealership in the town of Dinnington, which sits about five miles from Worksop and is roughly equidistant from Sheffield and Rotherham.

The skies overhead might have been grey when Rotherham Mayor Councillor John Foden and his Lady Mayor Cathy Foden cut the red ribbon outside Marquis’ newest dealership on 25 April 2014, but this was in great contrast to the celebrations on site.

The six-acre plot is sure to be a welcome addition to the services on offer for caravanners in the area. Previously, this site was occupied by South Yorkshire Motorhomes. The company established its dealership in 1981 and grew it from there into a highly successful business. It was later sold and in 2013, following a difficult period, the site closed.

However, knowing that there was much untapped potential here, Marquis Motorhomes and Caravans acquired the site and very soon it was back in business.

Marquis is adding to the existing large display area, storage space, showroom, service centre and accessory shop, by building all new service bays. In addition, more staff are being recruited to serve customer demand, which of course brings an economic boost to the region.

And those customers will have a lot to enjoy if they come to Marquis’ newest outlet looking for new and used caravans for sale. Models from major brands such as Elddis, Swift and Auto-Sleeper will be in stock, as well as Marquis’ dealer special versions of Swift and Elddis vans.

Representatives from Elddis, Swift and Auto-Sleeper were on hand to join in the celebrations as the Marquis site recently marked its official opening – it seems that caravanners in Dinnington and the surrounding area will be very well served indeed.
