A competition that has been launched by Ripe Insurance will cover up to £5,000 of site fees in 2023 for a lucky caravanner.

It follows a survey of 1,105 caravan owners that was carried out by the insurance company, which revealed 34% respondents may need to give up their tourer or static caravan, due to financial difficulties.

Of this 34% of respondents, 21% said they would likely need to give their tourer up, while 13% said it was very likely they would have to.

The rising cost of site fees are part of the concern for owners, which prompted Ripe Insurance to carry out the competition.

The competition is open to those who have a permanent pitch, as well as to those who have holidayed in the past 12 months – in the case of the latter, they would be able to get their caravan park fees reimbursed to the value of up to £5,000, after providing proof of the cost. You can take a look at their full competition T&Cs here to find out more.

For your chance to win, simply enter the competition on the Ripe Insurance website before the closing date of 31st March.

John Woosey, Founder of Ripe Insurance, commented: “We want to make sure that our customers always get our very best value, especially during the uncertain financial times we find ourselves in. Site fees are continuing to increase ahead of this year’s season and for many people, it could mean the difference between keeping and giving up their caravan. That’s why we’re giving caravanners the chance to win up to £5,000 towards their site fees this year.”
