The 2022 date for the National Camping and Caravanning Week (NCCW) has been set by the Camping and Caravanning Club and will run from 30 May to 5 June.

The event’s dates were chosen to coincide with when the Club will be joining in with the national festivities that are to be carried to mark Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

The four-day UK bank holiday weekend (running from June 2 to June 5) will be bringing people together to celebrate the 70 year reign of Her Majesty. With camping a great British pastime, the Club has chosen the dates so campers can be a part of it.

The NCCW has been running since 2001 and is an annual celebration of every form of camping.

Michelle Jewell, the Club’s Partnerships and events Marketing Manager, said: “National Camping and Caravanning Week is a key date in our diary when our thoughts turn to pitching up on campsites to enjoy warmer days exploring the great outdoors, and spending quality time with our loved ones.”

“The Club has a longstanding connection to the Royal Family and we know our members will enjoy joining in with the nation’s celebrations.”
