Hobby has extended its Beachy range with the 420+, a sister van to the 450. The new model, which joins the likes of the Beachy 360, features an additional bunk bed and an optional multi-functional wall that can be used to create a toilet, a dressing room, or act as a partition.

The four-berth Beachy 420+ has the same rear face-to-face seating area as the other models. However, its caravan layout sees an additional dinette at the front of the van, on the other side of the door. Sleeping arrangements are always going to be an important consideration for those on the hunt for the best 4 berth caravan, and here, the dinette can be converted into a bunk or a couch.

Depending on the way you turn it, the optional multifunctional wall can create a separate room for a Porta Potti or for dressing, or it can be used to separate the sitting and sleeping areas.

The new van, which has a body length of 4.26m and an MTPLM of 1000kg, is decked out in corduroy fabrics in different shades of blue to emphasise the link with the sea. Two red and yellow scatter cushions add splashes of colour.

Optional extras include a drawbar storage rack and an electric heater.
