MANCHESTER’S CARAVAN & MOTORHOME Show is moving to a bigger venue following the success of the 2011 event.
The change follows a 25% increase in visitor numbers at the 2011 show and organisers Clarion Events have reacted accordingly.
The show is moving from the Manchester Central exhibition centre to the new Event City complex. Located alongside the famous Trafford Centre, Clarion claims it’ll allow the longstanding show to double in size. Visitors to Manchester Central will be overjoyed to hear that free car parking is on offer too.
Show Director Sam North comments that “We are delighted to take this extremely positive step after our consultation with our key stakeholders. Offering the UK’s most active caravanning region a much improved display along with free parking and extremely easy access from the motorways will be tremendously well received by all”.
Existing exhibitors The National Caravan Council, The Swift Group, Campbells Caravans, Glossop Caravans, The Camping & Caravanning Club and many more are delighted to be part of the move and the opportunity it presents for them. WIth the large spring show moving to London’s EXCEL centre from Brimingham’s NEC, The Caravan & Motorhome Show is vital for buyers shopping in the North West and Central regions in the new year.
North summarises the changes in saying “This is excellent news – with the full support of the market we are looking forward to making a step change to this already successful show”.
