This October’s Motorhome and Caravan Show has been called off, due to ongoing concerns about the pandemic and lockdown.

In a statement released on Wednesday, organiser NCC Events says it plans to increase the scope of the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show in February next year to compensate.

The organiser acknowledged that there has been a huge increase in demand for caravans and motorhomes this summer, but said that there are still issues in the supply chain that would make the timing of the show, and the increased demand it would likely generate “untenable for some”.

It added that a February show would give people who have been shielding more confidence about returning to a public show.

NCC Events says it has already secured all “the major brands” for the February show.

Anyone who has already bought a ticket for this October’s show will be able to transfer it to the February show, to the October 2022 show, or get a refund.
