The layout includes a front lounge with parallel settees and an occasional table, a central washroom with a separate shower and a central kitchen, two fixed bunks in the offside rear corner, and a small dinette in the nearside rear corner. This can be made into a single bed, while an occasional bunk can be pulled out above it.
Unlike those models, the new Bailey Pursuit 570-6 has an entrance door further away from the children’s section, between the front lounge and kitchen.
It also has no partition to shut off the children’s section from the rest of the van. But along with a clip-on table, the rear lounge also has a large bedside table between both sets of bunks, complete with a mains socket – thoughtful.
The front lounge can be made into an enormous double bed measuring 2.03m x 1.47m. It can also be used as two singles, although anyone wanting to use the offside single would need to be very short, as it is only 1.55m long. The nearside single is a more conventional 1.78m, and both are 66cm wide.
The two fixed bunks in the rear both measure 1.78m x 0.69m, so are perfectly suitable for teenagers. The nearside single is a smaller 1.60m x 0.61m, although the occasional bunk above it is larger, measuring 1.80m x 0.66m.
Between the washroom and the front lounge is a relatively narrow but full-height wardrobe, which also houses the foldaway table.
Like what you see? The Bailey Pursuit 570-6 has an RRP of £16,499.
