This entry-level range is largely unchanged from last year, but the 2014 range features brand new exterior graphics as well as a stylish modern interior with dark veneers, patterned beige upholstery and white surfaces. All the caravans in the range are light-weight and affordable, with high payloads.
The five layouts have slight tweaks for the new season. For example, the Tamar (542 DT) has a front lounge and nearside dinette, plus it now offers the option of ether two or three bunk beds in the rear offside corner to increase the number of berths from six to seven.
The Tay (432 PX) has an intriguing layout of a fixed bed and a washroom up front has a new front window to make the most of those beautiful views you’ll get from your pitch.
As ever, the small things make all the difference and the range continues to do these small things well, such as directional lighting in the lounge and flip-down basins in the washroom. These practical, versatile touches make these caravans especially suited to families who need to make the most of every bit of space.
2014 Adria Altea Range
Shannon (390 DS)
This model has front and rear lounges with make-up beds and a mid-ships kitchen and washroom. The front lounge becomes a double bed and the rear lounge makes way to bunks.
Tay (432 PX)
The Tay has a front corner gibed double bed and washroom and a rear offside lounge which doubles as a double bed. The washroom and kitchen are both on the nearside.
Trent (532 UP)
A front lounge and mid-ships kitchen and washroom leaves plenty of space at the rear of this caravan for the island bed. You’ll have the comfort of a fixed-bed and can convert the front lounge into another double to sleep four people.
Tamar (543 DT)
Another front lounge, but this time with a side dinette and kitchen. This van can sleep up to seven people because of the offside rear bunks, of which you can have either two or three, and the front make-up double.
Severn (542 DK)
This model also has front and rear lounges, plus rear offside bunks. Side kitchen and washrooms leave plenty of space for the two bunks and a pull-out twin bed in the rear lounge, while the front lounge converts to a comfy double.
