Coachman VIP 575 review

It’s new and improved for the 2018 season, so we kick off this week’s show with our review of the Coachman VIP 575.

The best-selling layout in the range, the VIP 575 has an end washroom and a transverse island bed, with a central offside kitchen and a front parallel lounge.

As it costs £25,955, you’d expect it to come loaded with kit – and we don’t think you’ll be disappointed!

From the new front skylight to the fancy new showerhead and lots in between, check out what’s new for 2018 in this Coachman caravan in our review, only on Practical Caravan TV.

Everything but the kitchen sink?

Second in our luxury touring special, we hitch up and see what tow car talent the latest Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate has.

It’ll be able to swallow all your touring kit with ease thanks to its massive boot – and passengers have it good, too.

On the test track, the big Benz was composed in our lane-change test and it proved to be stable at speed, the 2.0-litre diesel engine more than up to the job.

Tune in to this week’s show to see if the Mercedes estate is worth the outlay.

Talking awnings

Next we’re talking caravan awnings. For a bit more luxury and space on tour, they are just the thing.

We speak to Andy Harding of Salop Leisure about what to consider when buying an awning.

Then we see how Colin from awning brand Isabella erects a porch awning. Watch his step-by-step guide and soon you’ll be pitching yours like a pro!

Compass Camino 674 review

After the break, we get inside another new-for-2018 luxury caravan – it’s the twin-axle Compass Camino 674.

As you might expect, it is good-looking and well-specced – there are even three external lockers!

Layout wise, it has fixed twin single beds and a central washroom, with a plush parallel lounge up front, and it’s hard to argue with what’s on offer in the offside kitchen.

Take a proper look for yourself, this week on Practical Caravan TV.

And last but not least…

Finally, for this week, let’s take a look round Wood Farm – could this be the site for you next time you visit Dorset? After all, it is listed in our Top 100 Sites Guide 2017.

In a stunning setting and close to the Jurassic coast, it’s well-placed and has a great many facilities for its visitors.

Such as? Well, what about an indoor swimming pool, tennis courts, a dog-walking area and on-site pigs! Yes, really. There’s so much more – but you’ll have to tune in to this week’s show to see it.

So remember to watch Practical Caravan TV at the times listed above, on Sky 212, Freesat 161 or live online. Enjoy!
