The new Basecamp 3 is on show at the Swift stand at the October NEC Show.

The three berth is a new introduction to the Basecamp range, and provides a front folding bed, complete with a Duvalay mattress. This provides the flexibility of extra storage for larger items, including bikes.

A third berth can then be made up in the side single dinette as and when necessary.

The tourer boasts an impressive spec level, which includes a 100W solar panel. There is also a smart exterior, complete with eye-catching blue graphics.

With a MTPLM of 1146kg and a MiRO of 1020kg, the tourer is 5.59m in length – the same size as the Basecamp 4. The price for the tourer starts from £25,495. The Basecamp 3 had a successful showing at the Practical Caravan Awards 2023, where it was shortlisted for three categories, including the best caravan for couples.

You can see the Basecamp 3 on Stand 6.33-6.39, Hall 6 at the NEC Show.

It’s not the only model to be featuring for the first time – another is the Cub, which is also making its NEC debut, from Lion Caravans. As well as this, the Hobby Maxia 660WQM is also featuring for the first time, despite launching last year, while Adria is showcasing its new Alpina Rio Grande too.
