Swift has ensured buyers have no threat of a 2.5% caravan price hike at the forthcoming NEC Show. Swift, which is showing its new Challenger, Conqueror, Sterling Elite and Sterling Eccles ranges at the show, wants to give buyers the confidence to buy, following forecourt confusion last January.

When VAT went up in 2010, many caravanners ended up paying the extra tax, as the Inland Revenue based calculations on when the caravan was delivered, rather than when it was ordered. To prevent confusion this time, Swift has decided to guarantee pre-VAT pricing on all orders placed by October 17th – the final day of the International Caravan and Motorhome show at the NEC in Birmingham.[tl:gallery size=480×720]

Commerical director Nick Page explained the reasons behind the price pledge: “Demand for the new ranges has been substantial, and with the NEC Show in October we clearly want to give customers peace of mind and a window of opportunity to buy at the launch price.”

To qualify for the offer, the 2011 model must be ordered before 6pm on 17 October 2010 and taken off the first available production at the time of ordering, to be protected at the price at the time of placing the order, including VAT. Delivery and any extras agreed with the supplying dealer are excluded from this offer. This offer excludes 2010 and prior season’s models and closes at 6pm on 17 October 2010.
