A fire broke out at the Finedon, Northamptonshire branch of The Caravan Company on Friday 8th July, but it’s been business as usual for the site ever since.

Emergency services were able to arrive at the scene quickly and successfully dealt with the fire. However, damage was caused to the neighbouring properties and the site itself, while around 17 touring caravans were also destroyed by the blaze.

The Caravan Company’s staff worked hard to ensure the site could operate the next day, with the branch successfully opening on Saturday 9th July.

The following four days after the fire actually saw an increase in sales too, with the public responding to the news that the branch was open by leaving “genuinely touching comments” on the company’s Facebook page.

The Wimborne Dorset branch of The Caravan Company has remained unaffected by the fire, and has been operating as usual.
