MOTOR CODES HAS revealed Britain’s 100 most trusted garages, as judged by the motoring public.

The organisation, which runs an OFT-approved code of practice for the motor industry, is now looking for regional winners and the best garage in the country. Voting for the 100 contenders continues until 22 April. Visit www.garageoftheyear.co.uk if you’d like to take a look at the shortlist.

If your local garage is on the list and they’ve always looked after you well, I’d urge you to vote. It’s not always easy to find a garage you can trust but the annual Garage of the Year competition is a great starting point.

Chris Mason, managing director at Motor Codes, said: “The main purpose of Motor Codes is to point motorists in the direction of responsible businesses, committed to our transparent customer service guidelines.  We want people to be able to choose where to trust their car with confidence and what better way to make people aware of consistently good businesses than letting customers shout about the good guys?”

If you need a further incentive to take part, any motorist who votes for their favourite garage is in with a chance of winning a year’s free servicing, worth up to £1000, and tickets to the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
