It has been a busy week here on the Practical Caravan website, so to make sure you don’t miss a thing, we’ve made life easier for you and brought everything into one place. So this weekend, read on, click through and make sure you’re up to date with the latest news from the Practical Caravan team.

It’s July, so you won’t be surprised that it’s new van time, this the point in the year that caravan manufacturers disclose their plans for the coming year and launch their new products, ahead of the Motorhome and Caravan Show at Birmingham’s NEC in October.

Adria revealed its 2015 range this week and as the sole Continental brand that builds tourers with doors on the nearside, maybe it is not a shock to learn that it is the UK’s most imported brand of caravan. 2015 is the Slovenian firm’s 50th birthday and it plans to mark this not insignificant milestone in style, revising its Altea range. The new four-model line-up will be priced from £13,190 to £14,390.

Moving through the alphabet, from A we get to B which, of course, brings us neatly to Bailey – and this week the Bristol-based company has also launched a new for 2015 range of caravans. The covers have come off the new Unicorn III range, these new Bailey caravans particularly distinctive as they are the first all-white Baileys for many years. New exterior graphics also feature on this flagship range, LED tail lights twinkling at the back, while inside there’s the promise of more space and improved kit, including larger showers. Get the full story in our hot-off-the-press article.

Of course, everyone needs a tow car for their caravan – and if you’re considering what tow car to buy next, maybe something French might fit the bill? Read our new Peugeot 308 SW review from our Tow Car Editor David Motton. With a longer wheelbase than that of its predecessor and a large, usable load area, it promises to be a decent tow car. And be sure to come back when Motty gets it on tow and puts it through his tough tow car test in the coming months.

This week at Practical Caravan HQ, we’ve enjoyed some stunning weather and we hope you have, too. In fact, our very own Bryony Symes has been on her first solo caravan holiday! Taking on the striking Cotswolds, which has long been a popular destination for caravan holidays, Bryony hitched a super cute Pod caravan to a Volkswagen Golf – find out how she got on.

Last but by no means least, this week the 2014 Summer Special edition of Practical Caravan magazine went on sale!
