Our March issue is out now and a quick flick to page 8 will reveal our coverage of Vauxhall’s new Antara, with its long list of improvements for 2011.
The latest Antara has been given a refreshed exterioir for the new year, as well as two new 2.2 CDTi diesel engines offering either 163bhp or 184bhp with either two or four-wheel drive.
That’s not all though, because Vauxhall have been busy enhancing the chassis of the new car, upgrading its interioir and adding features like electronically-controlled all-wheel drive and an electronic handbrake.
But now the vital statistics are in and it’s great news. Depending on the engine and transmission, the new Antara is capable of pulling between 1700kgs and 2000kgs – making it a great match for a useful number of caravans.
The right price
The Antara remains accessible in terms of price, too. Starting at £19,995, the new model is a whole £3000 cheaper than the outgoing shape.
We’ll have a first drive report of the new Antara in the magazine over the coming months.
