How did you celebrate VE Day 75? They may not have had any visitors, but a group of the Caravan and Motorhome Club’s Certified Locations managed to have fun, with bunting and one or two dressing up to commemorate Victory in Europe Day.

This included Matthew Horton of Goodleigh Hill CL, in Pershore, Worcestershire (pictured) who wore his late father-in-law’s WW2 RAF uniform. The uniform belonged to 24-year-old Bomber Command pilot Geoff Sanders and bears the Distinguished Flying Cross, which he was awarded after making 43 bombing raids flying from North Yorkshire in the Halifax bomber aircraft.

Watch this You Tube clip to catch a glimpse of the CLs (which have a maximum number of five pitches) and their owners, who clearly had a lot of fun putting the video together in an attempt to entice you to their particular patch when ‘lockdown’ is over.
