Railway enthusiasts should make a beeline for Stanmore Hall Touring Park: the northern terminus of the Severn Valley Railway is just a couple of miles away, from where you can take a trip aboard a historic steam train. Chocolate lovers will prefer a visit to Cadbury World, which is also within easy reach!

There are 30 all-weather super pitches with water and electric connections at Stanmore Hall, as well as a motorhome service point, Wi-Fi (for a charge), a well-equipped launderette and a children’s play area. If you are touring without youngsters, you can choose to pitch up in the dedicated adults-only section.

Here's what you said when voting for the Top 100 Sites Guide 2016:

“This is a great site in a good location. We loved Bridgnorth, which has plenty to do and see, as well as plenty of places to eat out. The site was beautiful, clean and tidy, with good pitches and great showers. The staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. We will definitely return.”

“The pitches are clean and well-organised. Our granddaughter used the play park. We loved being by the lake and watching the ducks, heron and peacocks. We would book here again; it is one of the best sites we have ever stayed at. We had a wonderful long weekend, and were relaxed and comfortable knowing we were in good hands.”
